Registration to My Medline gives you the possibility to customise medline.ch according to your needs. Besides the basic features of medline.ch, My Medline offers you an absolut flexibility.
You can choose the medical fields you are interested in; create your search strategies to have a fast and updated access to focussed subjects; define folders to structure your knowledge and much more.
My Navigation With My Navigation you can customize the navigation on the left hand side on how to browse through the medical fields. You just need to choose your preferred topics from the list of the main medical fields.
My News With My News you can create and save your own search strategies to keep abreast with the recent literature and update them at any time you like. All you need is to define your information needs.
My Library With My Library you can create and administer your own online library: you define folders and structure your saved abstracts. You just have to browse the recent literature in My Medline or in My News and put abstracts to your existing folders.
My Abstracts You can select abstracts in My Medline or in My News and put them to My Library with one click. With My Abstracts you can put your selected abstracts in existing folders, create new folders or or modify them according to your needs.
My Ordering
With My Ordering you can easily order original articles of the abstracts you are interested in. Search/browse medline.ch or your own library, fill your cart with abstracts that interest you and send your order to us.
Basic features of medline.ch
Medical fields
The medical fields can be called up on the left by a single click. Each medical field is subdivided into the most frequent and most important clinical pictures.
Filters With the filters on the right-hand side, medline.ch can be focused on important topics such as diagnostics, therapy, prevention, epidemiology, prognosis or surgery. A time frame is also available to limit the search to the most recent studies.
Search Type the search words in the search window and then search either in a preselected medical field or in the entire database. With the Advanced Search, you can select additional search criteria and fine-tune your search.
Fulltext
Where the full text of an abstract is available on-line, an appropriate link is inserted at the end of the abstract. With Medline.CH, you can also select individual abstracts and order them on-line from a university library.
